SCandinavian Cruises - 2026

Friday 15 May'26 - Brugges (Belgium) [the 16th & 17th are further down this page]

Docked in Zeebrugge, Brugges sea port, at 1000.  8' and showers greeted us as we disembarked and having been to Brugges before, the plan was to basically do our own thing.  The bus dropped us off in a location different to my last visit so the walk into the town centre was up streets not seen before.  After a wander around, sat in a cafe on the edge of the Grote Markt (the market square) which last time I was here, it was full of the Xmas markets but this time, just people.   A pizza lunch washed down with an Aperol Spritz before  more walking and sightseeing and eventually, time to head back to the bus and ship.  Brugges is a lovely old town with beautiful stone buildings, canals and lots of history.  Worth a visit if you get the chance.  Dinner was again in the Cosmopolitan but the menu variety is very good.

Saturday 16 May'26 - Southampton (Next Cruise)

This morning,  we sailed into Southampton, docking at 0600 after doing 2,317 nautical miles on the 1st cruise.  Met our friends from the States for brekky before they had to leave for home.  It has been fun and our pleasure to catch up with these lovely people.  We thoroughly enjoyed their company and wish them a safe journey home.  Can't wait to catch up with them again, the sooner the better.

Today was spent leisurely enjoying the ship before heading off at 1600 on the next cruise, so a few photo's of various areas on the ship...  Now on our way to Copenhagen.  Dinner tonight in Cyprus, the 4th of the free restaurants. After that, a quiet drink in the Grand Plaza before off to bed!

Sunday 17 May'26 - Sea Day

And a very Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Jessica, who turns 21ish today.  Bub, I hope you have a fantabulous day.  A very relaxing day.  Cosmopolitan for dinner and then off to bed.
