African Safari - 2026

Sunday 4 October'26 - Lake Naivasha/Lake Nakuru National Park (Kenya)

Firstly, and I know it's not the 4th in Australia for those following closely, but the time difference and the full days, does cause a little issue.  Any how, a very happy "21st birthday" to my special friend Michelle.   I hope you had a great day.   A brilliant sunrise.   Ok, so whilst waiting for our guide to pick us up at Lake Naivasha Resort for the next stage of our trip, we were treated to a spectacle of both the Colobus and Vervet  monkeys play out a "game" after being fed by the staff.  The Colobus monkeys are the "bosses" and it was a fun time had by all...   Also, on the way out of the National Park, we came across an Elan, a Baboon troop & a white rhino Mum with her bub.   Next stop, Lake Nakuru and upon entering the Park, we were treated to water buffalo, zebras, more baboons, impalas and warthogs (or Poombah's).  The resort was great and so was our room.    After lunch, we headed out on another safari.   Plenty of pelicans, a hyena and a black rhino before dinner and bed...
